The groundwork for NAVSAR has been painstakingly laid to make sure that this organization will exceed the expectations of its members, and hold true to its mission to be a mechanism of support for volunteer search and rescue teams.  In order to meet those goals, members must be committed to the philosophy that as an organized group, together we can build on the established foundation of NAVSAR to ensure that each team gets the equipment, training, and supplies that it needs to carryout  to provide the best possible service to your requesting agencies and the communities that you serve.

To do this, it is important that those with the time and talents needed to support the NAVSAR mission, volunteer to help their fellow search and rescue professionals.  Whether your talents are as a committed leader, a writer with the power of the prose, an internet-savvy researcher, technology guru, or you just have a passion to help those who help others... NAVSAR has a need for your participation.

As the membership grows, the Board of Directors is elected, and our shared goals are realized, it is important to remember that it is only through the commitment to the philospohy of NAVSAR that the organization is successful, which in turn helps its members to achieve success in their needs for support.
